Job Description: Global Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee our quality assurance and control processes. The successful candidate will ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before reaching the customer. This role involves developing quality standards, conducting audits, and managing a team of quality inspectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of quality inspectors and auditors.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Utilize quality control tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
- Manage non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to address quality-related issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality activities and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficiency with quality control tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP Quality Management).
- Experience in conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQM (Certified Quality Manager) are highly desirable.
