Job Description: Global Energy is looking for an experienced and organized Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage project teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, including resources, budget, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira).
- Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certification is highly desirable.
